@agronomistag@regenranching That soil looks tilled and harrowed. But I suppose if growers are limited to hand implements, they will not be able to till (or farm) as much land.
Accepting and rejecting papers is an archaic practice that is terrible for science. It strips peer review of its value & institutionalizes the practice of judging scientists based on where, rather than what, they publish. It's time for this system to go.

@nucleifitness @TamarHaspel@HurstBlake@donpcarr 1) Do all of the folks directly or indirectly working for those large family farms not count as farmers? But the independent guy selling $1k of produce does (USDA minimum)?

@nucleifitness @TamarHaspel@HurstBlake@donpcarr Large family farm operations might account for a small % of operations as defined by the USDA but account for the vast bulk of production.
A late Throwback Thursday entry. In honor of Chase McLauglin winning an NFL game all by himself (4-4 from 31, 48, 51, and 52 as the Colts win 12-9), let’s go all the way back to his freshman year when he was an unknown walkon making trick shot videos. https://t.co/k29b5MUnf3
This Colts-Broncos games brings up memories of the first college football game I watched in person: Illinois tied Northwestern 0-0. Field goal kicking has improved over the past 45 years.

Just want to point out that the YouTube gun-enthusiast video ecosystem has demonstrations of people using nail guns to defeat ballistic glass designed to stop rifle rounds & that ballistic glass is a common feature in the entrances to secure locations such as FBI field offices.
