Chris Townley

Just another gamer, lucky enough to work for Battlefront Miniatures, spending way too much time thinking about what to paint next instead of actually painting!

@JeremyCorbett When will @7Days_NZ feature @MelindaButtle again? Best Aussie comedian after @RonnJohnChopper

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

Thanks @donald_faison and @zachbraff - Fake Doctors, Real Friends is exactly what I need right now to help me get through the work day (at home), and drown out the noise of my kids... :)

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

@meladoodle Look on the positive side. Could have been #gilf

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

@JeremyCorbett who do we have to bribe to watch the unedited version of tonight’s show. If @RonnJohnChopper said it was that unwatchable it must be legendary!

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

Just finished Northen Fury, a great new alternative WW3 history set in the early 90s. Well worth it and cannot wait for the next part! https://t.co/w4aYz8T3HU

Been 20 years since I last played the Dune boardgame. Looking forward to remembering the rules now that we have a new copy in the office. https://t.co/yBLWPDMNyq

Literally squeeking (out of multiple orifices) with laughter at @VancityReynolds 1 hour in to Once Upon A Deadpool

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

@JeremyCorbett if you need a hand building that Lego Saturn V I’m available :) not sure I can sneak it past my wife. :)

Getting ready for Late War with a little research (whilst painting in the garage).

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

@MengelMinis @scoldingscarab That one image probably just sold me a small pile of Contrast Paints.

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

Been trying to figure out what colour one of our models was highlighted with... till @Victor_Pesch remembered @Pulptor literally wrote the book. Tommy Green dry brush for the win.

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

@Rob_Oute I haven’t read it yet. :). It is next on my WW3 list though

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

I’ve been reading a whole lot of WW3 related fiction recently thanks to #TeamYankeeGame Whilst it’s hard to beat (no surprises here) Team Yankee and Tom Clancy’s Red Storm Rising, but I found a few other gems to pass the time.

It is May the Fourth here in New Zealand so what do you do? Grab some friends and build @FFGames #StarWarsLegion models https://t.co/l0WjXZqi6k

Great weekend playing #teamyankee down in Kapiti.

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

@JamesManto4 Ummmm no. I felt guilty for not doing it though. I have a few regrets about some of my shortcuts but I wasn’t going to get them finished otherwise.

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

Low vis Canadian CF-188 markings are so low visibility. #teamyankeegame air support

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

@kenputski The decal manufacturer @CanuckModels did a great job! Not only awesome decals but great reference info.

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

@TableTopBill I've been trying to find some 1/144 F-5 models, just too rare!

[Chris Townley @wargamerontour]

@TableTopBill Planning on using them as German Tornados for the tournament but it is tempting to create an unofficial unit card.
