12-14 months to process EAD application, after approval wait 60 days to receive actual EAD card, if you STILL don’t receive your card after waiting for 16 months call @USCIS and wait another 30 days for a response. Wow. No words. This is unacceptable @DHSgov @SecMayorkas @POTUS

Finally after 11months+6days my H4 & H4EAD gets approved!Don’t know what helped.But the litigation I was part of has definitely helped in getting the media attention & resulted in removal of the biometrics!Went through so much pain, frustration but much relieved now!#H4EADdelays

Hope there will be a permanent fix to this #H4EADdelays and resolution on ultimate root cause that is Birth country caps in EB GCs. Otherwise, we will have to suffer through this similar pain with some new additions every other renewal.
