@crthpl_@xsphi Open-source software has always existed. How is offering an alternative illegal? Successful software is about data moats and institutional knowledge at this point, not implementation.
@TJKoury@crthpl_@xsphi I didn’t mention decompilation/reverse engineering, just model-aided alternatives.
I get that’s a little off-base with the discussion being had here, but both are coming
@jason_koebler Why would comparing prices require any of that?
People are serious about their extreme couponing game this is one of the few cases that I could see actually catching on.
@AgbaMan14872@Theolturkeyneck@igorbobic I am talking about El-Sayed lobbying against data center construction in the state he wishes to represent. That would be in scope for him and is a mistake. You’re crossing the moral argument against the state of the AI industry with the reality that’s unfolding.
@AgbaMan14872@Theolturkeyneck@igorbobic El-Sayed would have absolutely no control over that as a single voting member of the Senate. It’s arguably out of America, the nation’s, control as well in a technofeudal economy. When it happens, the Michigan tax base should benefit.
