Here it is — our #HAScholar and @Health_Affairs summary of CMS’ latest value based care model, Making Care Primary: https://t.co/xxN0GE4Uch
Thanks to @eadashi and Wasan Kumar for their good work!
In their new Forefront article, @kevin_schulman, @wasan_kumar, + @eadashi from @StanfordMed discuss how each generic entry drives down the cost of generic medications + how this pricing model helped to create strains in the generic drug market. https://t.co/aS40OqthNj
Super excited to share this piece in @SSIReview with @JaroneLeeMD@ShuhanHeMD@PharmInnove! We look at missed opportunities for regulators to improve digital health in the US using lessons learned from virtual care delivery in the war in Ukraine.
“Companies and regulators risk missing out on the biggest opportunities for raising productivity by requiring high-tech solutions.” @JaroneLeeMD@wasan_kumar Marianna Petrea-Imenokhoeva @PharmInnove@ShuhanHeMD share lessons from Ukrainian relief efforts. https://t.co/Acgc8ZmhLC

(8/8) As always, it was a delight to work with my mentor @kevin_schulman, and a big thanks to the editors @NEJM. If you have a minute, please check out the full article below: https://t.co/ZVkPprIpmr
Today in @NEJM, @kevin_schulman and I discuss the 340B program, a drug discount program designed to help safety net hospitals that has since ballooned, with a recent Supreme Court case resulting in a potential multi-billion dollar federal settlement to hospitals (1/8)
Given that the goals of advancing health equity are being smudged, how can we move forward with 340B? We suggest: Congressional action to restore lower payment rates and to require 340B profit ‘pass-through’ funding to address health disparities, among other policy actions (7/8)
(7/7) Many thanks to my mentor and collaborator @eadashi, and to the editors @journalGIM. If you have a second, check out the full article below:

Healthcare is expensive - But the costs of healthcare shouldn’t cause more harm than the benefits of care itself. @eadashi and I discuss the sweeping Biden Administration actions to curb medical debt and where we need to go from here in @journalgim (1/7)
@wasan_kumar and Eli Y Adashi discuss the recent Biden Administration actions to address medical debt and argue for stronger protections against predatory billing practices. https://t.co/ZDh1ILKD5O
