We are delighted to announce that the Board of Directors of ArianeGroup has appointed Christophe Bruneau as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2026. He will succeed Martin Sion, whose departure was announced on October 8, 2025.

Christophe has more than 25 years of international leadership experience in the space and defense industries, especially in France and Germany. He currently serves as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Military Engines Division at Safran Aircraft Engines.

Matthieu Louvot, Chairman of ArianeGroup’s Board of Directors, said: “With his deep knowledge of the space and defense industries and expertise in industrial collaboration programs, especially in a French-German context, Christophe Bruneau is the ideal candidate to lead ArianeGroup. I would like to thank Martin Sion for his dedication and exemplary leadership over the past three years, during which we saw the successful launch of Ariane 6 and the operational deployment of the M51.3.”

Christophe will join our team of #RocketMakers at a time when the industrial ramp-up of Ariane 6 and preparations for the future of both civil and military programs remain major priorities for ArianeGroup.
