@ormondlad @LenDowlingCork I disagree. Clubs can scout and develop players in schools and clubs regardless of where they are from. The certainty of an academy arrangement wherever it is will trump holding out for their favourite club, although I accept that most Leinster players would sign for Leinster.

Look at the Munster heros that came from Leinster; Conway, Beirne, Carberry etc. All provinces can develop player pathways from Leinster schools. Not a matter of money. Stop cribbing and get on with it.

Given how few players make it through to full contracts, other provinces whinging about no access to quality players is complete nonsense. Leinster don't have enough places for these.
