Tonight the Buffalo Bills play their first home game of the season.
Fans are paying up to $50,000 just to access seats, in a new stadium that they largely funded with their taxes.
Meanwhile, the team's owner is worth over $14 billion.
Biggest issue: If you're being drafted, people are saying "we want you around for 4 years" & I can't imagine anybody wants Enes Kanter or Royce White around them for even 4 minutes.
We've seen this illustrated whenever Enes is near Turkey or Royce comes close to logic/reality.
i sustained a brain injury on 1/20/2025 and i'm gonna be real i'm better but some stuff still makes me wonder if i'm actually in a different reality or dead and in hell

US reportedly massacred civilians in Strait of Hormuz during failed attempt to challenge Iranian maritime control
——
A senior Iranian military official has formally rejected claims by the United States military that it sank several Iranian vessels as part of an attempt to open the Strait of Hormuz. The unidentified commander, in a report cited by IRIB News, dismissed the narrative as a total fabrication, stating: “The US claim regarding the sinking of a number of Iranian combat boats is a lie.”
While Admiral Brad Cooper, head of CENTCOM, claimed earlier on Monday that US forces destroyed six IRGC fast boats and intercepted missiles and drones, an Iranian military source told Tasnim News Agency that US forces instead targeted two small civilian cargo boats traveling from Khasab on the Omani coast toward Iran, resulting in the murder of five Iranian civilians.
"Following the false claim by the US military about targeting six Iranian fast boats... it was revealed that US forces attacked and fired upon two small cargo boats carrying civilians," reported Tasnim.
The Iranian military describes this lethal escalation as a "hasty and clumsy" reaction rooted in the US military’s "excessive fear" of IRGC naval capabilities. Tehran insists Washington must be held strictly accountable for this crime against unarmed traders. This latest aggression follows US President Donald Trump’s announcement of an operation to break Iranian control over the waterway and allow commercial ships to pass after more than two months of being stranded due to US-Israeli hostilities that began in late February.
The IRGC warned in response that any attempt by US military or commercial vessels to transit without coordination would be met with "swift and decisive action." This policy has left nearly 3,000 ships and 20,000 sailors stranded, sending global oil prices soaring. While the US attempts to mask its tactical failures with reports of naval victories, the reality on the water confirms a tragic loss of civilian life and a continued failure to bypass Iranian sovereignty.
Can we just think for a second about how insane it is that Venezuela is playing the US in the World Baseball Classic Final tonight, even as the US holds Venezuela's kidnapped president hostage?
If this were happening in the USSR or an enemy nation, it'd transcend sport & be the biggest news story of the decade.
An unarmed Iranian ship was invited to take part in an Indian naval exercise alongside the United States.
Its sailors were welcomed on land and paraded before the president as a gesture of cooperation.
Then, at the last moment, the United States abruptly withdrew from the exercise, only to turn around and torpedo the very ship it had just stood beside.
What followed was even more grotesque.
After attacking an unarmed vessel, the US refused to rescue the sailors it had thrown into the sea, abandoning them to drown.
The grim work of recovering bodies was left to the Sri Lankan Navy.
This wasn’t warfare,it was treachery of the most disgraceful kind: an ambush carried out under the pretense of diplomacy, followed by a cold refusal to show even the most basic human decency to the dying.
It would represent a collapse of every norm that supposedly governs civilized conduct at sea.
And yet, instead of outrage, much of the American media response has been indifference or rationalization.
The bombing of a girls’ school is brushed aside; talk of carpet-bombing Tehran is floated as if it were just another policy option.
When atrocities are normalized and cruelty is laundered into “strategy,” the line between reporting and complicity begins to disappear.
🇨🇭🇮🇱🇹 Sportscaster CLOCKS Israeli Genocide Supporter! WE NEED MORE OF THIS!!
A commentator on Swiss public broadcaster RTS 2 questions why Israeli athlete Adam Edelman is allowed to compete in Cortina despite openly supporting Israel’s war in Gaza.
He cites Edelman’s pro-war statements and social media activity, contrasting it with the IOC’s strict enforcement against Russians.
What’s particularly ridiculous about the flagrant American lie that President Maduro is some sort of drugs kingpin is that the US openly ran Afghanistan as a heroin colony for 20 years. The country under US puppet rule supplied 90% of the world’s heroin and the US-backed rulers all took their cut. After the Taliban ejected the occupiers, poppy production stopped virtually overnight.
As always imperial propaganda is pure projection.
🇵🇸‼️BREAKING: CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE IN PROGRESS! COME OUT TO SUPPORT ASAP!!
Advocates for divestment from Israel are currently holding an indefinite sit-in at the Retirement Systems Building at 60 Empire Drive in Saint Paul.
The late, great Hugo Chávez said it best when it came to the Zionist imperialist María Corina Machado, who won the Nobel Peace Prize today.
He famously refused to debate her because, ‘An eagle doesn’t hunt flies’.
“Israel has killed so many people that there are villages of orphans. There are 17,000 orphans in Gaza today during a genocide that has taken the lives of thousands of people.”

Happy birthday to Dorothy Ashby, born on this day in 1932!
She turned the harp into a jazz instrument with soul, swing, and sophistication.
Blending bebop, R&B, and later funk and spiritual jazz, Ashby carved a path few dared to follow. Albums like “Afro-Harping” and “The Rubáiyát of Dorothy Ashby” showcased not just her virtuosity, but her vision.
Far ahead of her time — and finally getting the recognition she always deserved…
