@daotakun@Cake_sized_dog@driveandkill@Pirat_Nation@elonmusk@AyakaMods You are showing an extreme lack of comprehension.
Do you understand how logic works? In this case two platforms are mentioned. They hold market dominance in their respective categories.
Your reply was quite literally, stupid.
@Cake_sized_dog@driveandkill@Pirat_Nation@elonmusk@AyakaMods There were alternatives to Twitter, so why did Elon buy twitter? Same logic applies here. It would be far more effective to take control over the market leader, than hope a competing platform can take over.
@Philfreeze96@Itsfoss Because they want to work on their own unified project? It's often that simple. If you are fine with Libre office as it is now, then why care what someone else does with their own resources at this point?
@djsmith42 The future is likely going to involve AI + open source. The two together make one potent combo.
Closed source commercial software will be come increasingly unviable as a result
@Senor__Meme@purpvelli@InfiniteManaRPG Did they say they are done with that one prompt? That there is nothing to change or polish? No. At most, the claim implies thats what one prompt starts them with. It doesn't end there.
There is a lot more going into the process than you realize.
@AdityaKTech Looks like the digitizer is the issue. Pen is fine. Saw this with an older ipad. The reason the finger works is that the input is from the touch, rather than the digitizer the pen relies on.
Game designer Richard Garriott has confirmed he will soon regain the rights to the influential RPG series Ultima from Electronic Arts.
"It means I could re-release the earlier Ultimas, but it also means I could sequel them."

@Senor__Meme@purpvelli@InfiniteManaRPG Where have they implied the process is not iterative? Thats effectively what QA is in practice.
Most of the time it's people showing off what AI just did and far its come in a short amount of time. Usually presented as a proof of concept, a style sheet or simple tech demo.
@InfiniteManaRPG Question, why assume someone doing a tech demo has no experience or understanding in the design department? Why wouldn't it be possible?
There are plenty of devs outside of AI creation that don't understand a thing about level design or game theory. Many in the AAA space even.
@_lyle_@Gam_987@DanFessler@tokenburnt Features and changes are added in pieces, often based on the documentation it has access to. You start with a system, then polish after the system is set up.
The AI can even add to the documentation so it can remember what was done and where it needs to go.
@_lyle_@Gam_987@DanFessler@tokenburnt It doesn't work that way. You seem to think its just about making a single prompt, but that's just not it. The AI can pull from documentation btw, for example you give it access to Adobe's official manual, or create an entire design doc yourself.
