The Nigerian power sector has three main parts: generation (producing electricity), transmission (the national grid of high-voltage lines & substations that move power across the country), and distribution (delivering it to homes/businesses).

Transmission, run by TCN, is the biggest bottleneck—old infrastructure causes frequent grid collapses and limits how much power can flow, even if more is generated.

The FG is proposing a new Grid Asset Management Company (GAMCO) to own/manage these grid assets better: modernize, maintain, attract investment, and reduce blackouts.

It's early stage—a committee will design the legal/operational setup (possibly needing National Assembly approval). Goal: more reliable electricity nationwide.

LOVERS OF THE PROPHET ﷺ ❤️
The letter that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) wrote to the King of Abyssinia (An-Najashi) is one of those things that truly bring calm to the heart.
It was a letter of invitation to Islam, written with wisdom and respect, after the Prophet (peace be upon him) first introduced himself.
What amazes me most is that this letter is still preserved in Makkah to this day.
By Allah, seeing such a powerful piece of the Prophet’s history with my own eyes filled my heart with joy.
O Allah, increase the honor of Your Prophet, and make us among those who will receive his intercession (peace be upon him). 🤲❤️
This is the translation of the letter our Prophet ﷺ sent to the King of Abyssinia:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
From Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, to An-Najashi, the King of Abyssinia.
Peace be upon those who follow guidance.
To proceed: I praise Allah to you Allah, besides Whom there is no deity worthy of worship, the Sovereign, the Most Pure, the Giver of peace, the Granter of security.
I bear witness that Jesus, the son of Mary,
is the Spirit from Allah and His Word,
which He bestowed upon Mary, the pure virgin, and she conceived Jesus through His Spirit and His breath, just as Allah created Adam with His Hand. I invite you to Allah alone, to worship Him alone without associating anything with Him, to hold firmly to obedience to Him,
and to follow me and believe in what has been revealed to me.
For indeed, I am the Messenger of Allah.
I invite you and your people to Allah, the Most High. I have conveyed the message and offered sincere advice, so accept my advice.

Peace be upon those who follow guidance.
