@MFHoz For anyone interested in how to determine “a bottom” or when an asset (stock, bonds, real estate, precious metals, et al) is “cheap”, here’s what I do:
@Leonajardinho Estate planning and asset protection are not optional for anyone wishing to protect their hard-earned assets (for inheritors), from probate and from the vultures that show up from out of nowhere.
Here’s the thing about gas prices, and how it relates to the price of #silver:
The historic average price for 1 gallon of unleaded gasoline has been about $0.10 of a Silver Dollar (1 troy ounce of silver).
So, to see if the current price of gasoline is a “fair” price, take the current spot price of silver, divided by 10, and that would be the fair price in relation to the price of silver.
As of this post, silver closed Friday (9/18/2026) at around $66.32/oz, meaning in relation to silver, gasoline should average $6.63 per gallon. In other words, we haven’t seen the top of gas prices yet, IMO.
@economyninja
How do you get that ‘endless gasoline’ to the gas stations?
Without diesel, nobody’s getting any gas in their car, groceries stores will see delayed or no deliveries (empty shelves, remember covid shortages?), and shipping / transportation prices will skyrocket sending the remaining functioning part of the economy into a nosedive.
