BREAKING: The Senate voted down a deal, 52-43 that would have granted rail workers 7 paid sick days.

This was the crux of the rail strike standoff. Railroad workers in the U.S. do not receive a single paid sick day.

@choeshow Boy do I have another story for you. This is my next door neighbor's house (10811 55th Ave S.) and it's been like this for YEARS. The County said this poses "serious and immediate health and safety risks" because of the rotting rat carcasses. That was in October, and no change.
