@BradMossing@profgalloway Totally… state run education is stagnant. That’s why Germany’s free higher education system has such terrible student outcomes and lack of innovative research.
@BradMossing@profgalloway What if… and stay with me here… college wasn’t a profit driven institution at all. Aligning incentives here merely means further integrating the needs of business with higher education. Things that are needed but unprofitable will continually lose funding and attention.

For those in the back… despite a 50 year assault on unions, union members on average make 11% more than non union employees and have better access to healthcare.

@profgalloway Here is the thesis. Instead college being fund by tuition and state/federal funds putting all the risk on the 18-22 year olds, what if the university got paid 10% of future earnings? This would align the incentives of the college and students…
We want users to earn credit from more than YouTube but we’re not sure how the conversion to credit would work with certain platforms.
Any ideas how you imagine they could work for these?

Or for @hackerrank we could just have a simple conversion of points to credits.
