@TimothyDooner She’s the type of traffic manager that would tell you with a straight face that Yellow is the best carrier and she “gives them everything”
@FreightAlley Think it’s 0.1-0.3% of revenue 🤔 Regardless, 5x would be retarded for the 0.0000001% chance of a fatal accident that may or not have been negligent on part of broker
For the record, I decline to publicly deem a motor carrier as “safe” or “unsafe.”
Whatever I post, do what you will with that information. But we won’t label using the terms “safe” or “unsafe.”
Y’all aren’t dragging me into court with you.
@dalenz2@FreightAlley I don’t know what else to tell you, I’m a customer. I read through the entire agreement just now. They have nothing to do with the customer and in fact aside from paying the carrier, they explicitly stated that the “agreement” is between me and my carrier. They’re just “tech”
@dalenz2@FreightAlley Yeah, they have zero lien in the entire contract. You might be thinking about what a trucking company has to deal with. As far as brokers go convoy has nothing to do with my actual customer.
@dalenz2@FreightAlley I use the service. They don’t know who my customer is and they automatically draw from my bank on the 30th day when the invoice is due. Sure if I’m a scumbag and decide not to pay convoy then I guess theoretically they could call my customer, but won’t happen as they draft
@BoyYouSoKrazy@FreightAlley Yes. In its current form, it’s sort of like an Uber or Amazon Relay (at least in terms of vetting owner ops, presenting them opportunities, requiring tracking etc), but they’re a neutral platform allowing brokers to be the ones to feed the drivers with the freight
