@KensingtonRoyal It was a fantastic opportunity to show the power of community-led ocean action. A huge thank you to The Prince for taking the time to visit, and for being such a strong advocate for our seas 💙🌊
@KensingtonRoyal
Yesterday we welcomed The Prince of Wales to Colwyn Bay. The Prince met Youth Ocean Network members and volunteers from our Hiraeth Yn Y Môr project to hear about their work on ocean literacy, coastal heritage and wellbeing.

Mor braf bod yn ôl yng ngogledd Cymru unwaith eto a chael ymweld â Bae Colwyn am y tro cyntaf!
Cawsom ddechrau da i’r diwrnod yn clywed am waith y Gymdeithas Cadwraeth Forol ar arfordir Cymru. Dyma elusen wych sydd wedi bod yn amddiffyn y môr ers dros 40 mlynedd.
Arbennig oedd clywed hefyd am eu Rhwydwaith Cefnfor Ieuenctid — grŵp o bobl ifanc brwd yn hyrwyddo newid ac yn llywio dyfodol cadwraeth y môr.
Am waith ysbrydoledig sy’n dangos grym pobl yn dwyn ynghyd i amddiffyn ein planed.
So brilliant to see some of my @mcsuk#YouthOceanNetwork not only meet HRH The Prince of Wales today, but show him our collective artwork that we created last year. Fantastic to have such support and interest in #OceanLiteracy, youth voice and our #Ocean 💙
Great to be back in North Wales and a first visit to Colwyn Bay!
Starting the day hearing about the work of the Marine Conservation Society on the Welsh seafront. A brilliant environmental charity that’s been dedicated to protecting the ocean for over 40 years.
Amazing to also hear about their Youth Ocean Network — a passionate group of young people driving change and shaping the future of ocean conservation.
Inspiring work that shows the power of people coming together to protect our planet.
A pleasure meeting the local community and learning about Ocean Literacy with the Marine Conservation Society on Colwyn Bay.
This is a concept that highlights our influence on the ocean and its influence on us. Hugely encouraging to see that positive social change is being powered by collective action. Connecting communities with the ocean, and driving sustainable choices for healthier seas.

Pleser oedd cyfarfod â’r gymuned leol a dysgu am Lythrennedd Morol gyda’r Gymdeithas Cadwraeth Forol yn Bae Colwyn.
Cysyniad yw hwn sy’n pwysleisio ein dylanwad ar y môr, a dylanwad y môr arnom ninnau. Calonogol dros ben oedd gweld bod gweithredu torfol yn cyflawni newid cymdeithasol cadarnhaol. Cysylltu cymunedau â’r môr a hyrwyddo dewisiadau cynaliadwy dros foroedd iachach.
Wonderful to present with Rob from @Oceano_mag yday at #KendalMountainFestival 🏞
Chatted all about connection to our #Ocean & how we @mcsuk are connecting young people with their #bluespaces 💙🌊🐬🦭🐚🐋

The retro rubbish our volunteers find on beach cleans is a stark reminder that litter takes a long time to break down and can exist in our environment for many years 😢
Take a look at these old skool items found during this year's #GreatBritishBeachClean.

Brilliant @mcsuk#beachclean with @PwC today on the beautiful Ayrshire coast 🌞 42kg of litter collected from the (seemingly clean!) Troon beach, some spectacular beach art created, & lots of fun in the sun with new friends 🌊🏴☀️ THANK YOU!
