The solution was to install both packages directly from GitHub using remotes::install_github("qinwf/jiebaRD") followed by remotes::install_github("qinwf/jiebaR"). After this, library(jiebaR) loaded correctly. jiebaR depends on jiebaRD.

I encountered an issue running my STM replication code because the jiebaR package suddenly stopped working, likely after an R or macOS update that changed the default library paths. When I attempted to load it, R reported that the package no longer existed.

And reinstalling from CRAN failed due to missing dependencies. The core problem was that jiebaR depends on jiebaRD, which is no longer available on CRAN for macOS ARM, causing installation attempts to break.
