19 devices on my Airbnb room Wi-Fi. Claude Code found the 1 that wasn't fine.
Last month I reverse engineered apps. This month I reverse engineer Airbnb rooms.
One prompt, 7 steps, read only the whole way:
Wi-Fi: lists every device on the network, finds the maker by MAC and flags anything open on camera ports like 554
Behavior: a "smoke detector" that calls itself IPC-CAM on the network is not a smoke detector - devices tell on themselves
Bluetooth: logs every tracker for 10 minutes, then again in the hallway - an AirTag that walks out with me is in my bag
My phone: Amnesty's free MVT tool checks it for known stalkerware
Host's app: if they make me install a check-in app, REA opens it and lists every tracker and permission inside
Lenses: a flashlight sweep of everything that faces the bed and the shower
Report: every finding marked fact, guess or unknown - with proof for each one: MAC, port or file
Then I break it on purpose. I hide my own AirTag in the room and run it again. If it misses mine, I don't trust the green.
It never logs into anything, never changes a setting, and tells me what it can't see - like a camera on its own SIM card.
20 minutes of checks beats 7 nights of wondering.
I'll post the full case file on my profile soon. Save this post for your next trip and stay safe.
ex-SpaceXAI engineer shared his best tricks for getting more out of Grok Bot, and this is a f*cking goldmine
his Grok Bot setup went from 100,000 to 12,500 tokens per task. 8x less usage, fewer failed runs, and 10x more usable results from the same budget
20 GitHub repos he used to cut costs and improve his Grok Bot’s results:
01 JSON Repair → fix malformed JSON in code before asking the model to generate the entire response again
https://t.co/YtCiQDmxg3
02 Docling → turn PDFs and office documents into structured content, preserving layout and tables so your bot gets cleaner material to work with
https://t.co/q9QLAUpddg
03 PyMuPDF4LLM → extract PDFs into Markdown, then select the pages and sections your task needs instead of loading the whole document
https://t.co/xBuNivZuko
04 LanceDB → store searchable document chunks and retrieve relevant evidence for each request instead of attaching the entire archive
https://t.co/YF8jz6TkPM
05 FastEmbed → generate embeddings locally with supported models, reducing reliance on paid embedding calls when indexing and searching your material
https://t.co/Hg4VBOPpUT
06 FlashRank → rerank search results before generation so your bot reads the strongest passages rather than every vaguely related match
https://t.co/GpDbGy2Kmv
07 datasketch → detect near-duplicate text with similarity search, helping your pipeline remove repeated material before analysis
https://t.co/cDhzBfyigI
08 joblib → cache expensive Python function results on disk and reuse them when the inputs match, avoiding repeated preprocessing
https://t.co/ZHbDpD7HE3
09 RQ → send background jobs to Python workers so code handles the queue while model calls happen only inside tasks that need them
https://t.co/sdFI4K3aHS
10 Instructor → extract answers into typed fields and validate them automatically. set a retry limit so a failed extraction stays bounded
https://t.co/EcECZnYLLy
11 Outlines → constrain supported model outputs to a defined structure, reducing formatting failures that trigger another generation
https://t.co/3XozyDzMRI
12 Guardrails → apply explicit input and output checks, catching configured failures before a response moves into the next workflow step
https://t.co/chmPriEzfo
13 DSPy → optimize prompts and examples against a defined quality metric, then test whether cheaper calls can meet your requirements
https://t.co/JKFb4x1FqR
14 OptiLLM → test reasoning strategies on connected models and keep the approach that delivers better results within your task budget
https://t.co/4kGqOU0Y04
15 vLLM → serve compatible open models with batching and efficient memory management when you run your own API workers
https://t.co/0WvIReSQV3
16 SGLang → run compatible self-hosted workers with optimized serving and prefix reuse for requests sharing the same starting context
https://t.co/nntaOhi9xy
17 LMCache → reuse stored model attention state on compatible inference servers, reducing repeated processing of shared context
https://t.co/sf0JAPm0P1
18 DeepEval → test cheaper calls and revised prompts against repeatable checks before trusting them with the full workload
https://t.co/uCp2tcAE8v
19 Ragas → evaluate retrieval and generated answers so shorter context doesn’t quietly turn into missing evidence or worse responses
https://t.co/vgCSSQRYNk
20 Laminar → trace instrumented agent runs and inspect the calls behind slow, expensive, or failed tasks before deciding what to change
https://t.co/UjnCDkIoAT
connect the tools through your workflow code, terminal, or supported MCP integration. use serving tools for your own compatible workers and API tools for calls you control
start with one recurring task. remove duplicate inputs, retrieve better evidence, and compare accepted results against the full cost of the run
clean inputs → reusable work → checked outputs → fewer expensive repeats
save this before your next upgrade

WTF, I STOPPED OPENING HALF MY APPS. GROK BOT NOW RUNS MY WORK AND MY LIFE EVERY SINGLE DAY.
IT RESEARCHES MY CONTENT, ANSWERS MY DMS AND EVEN PAYS FOR STUFF WITH MY CARD.
A few months ago Grok Bot was just another tool I tested. Now it’s the first thing I open in the morning and the last thing I check at night.
Here’s what I actually hand over to it:
MY WORK AS A CREATOR
→ Morning X research: it scans my lists, timelines and AI accounts overnight, then gives me 10 posts worth reacting to, with links and a suggested angle for each.
→ Viral breakdowns: when a post in my niche blows up, it explains why. The hook, the format, the timing. I get a swipe file without scrolling for hours.
→ X Chat on autopilot: it answers the routine DMs (“what tool is this?”, “where’s the link?”) in my voice, and flags anything important like collabs or brand deals for me.
→ Brand deal filter: it checks who the brand is, what they’ve sponsored before, and drafts a reply with my rates. I only read the ones worth my time.
MONEY (YES, IT HAS MY CARD)
→ Subscription killer: it tracks free trials and cancels the ones I haven’t used before I get charged.
→ Weekly groceries: it knows what I usually buy, builds the order and checks out under a budget I set.
→ Flight sniper: I give it a route and a max price. When the fare drops below it, it books.
→ Tool top-ups: when my API credits or design tool balance runs low, it refills them so nothing breaks mid-project.
→ Gift mode: it remembers birthdays, suggests three options a week before and orders the one I pick.
Anything above my limit still needs my approval. That’s the rule.
EVERYDAY LIFE
→ Trips: it builds the itinerary, books the hotel, checks me in for the flight and rebooks if it gets delayed.
→ Restaurant reservations: “Find a table for two on Friday, quiet, not too far.” Done.
→ Returns: it tracks return windows and starts the return before the deadline passes.
→ Life admin reminders: passport expiry, bills, dentist, car insurance. Weeks ahead, not the night before.
The crazy part isn’t any single task. It’s that I don’t have to remember any of them anymore.
My brain is finally free for the work only I can do: ideas, opinions and conversations.
