@maxspielmann today I met the best human beings in the world, they work in your Grantham branch. They were phenomenal with my autistic son and even gave him a free print of a picture as he insisted on posing, even though we had finished my passport photos. 5*! Rewards are needed!
An update further to my complaint tweet, I have in writing the promise of a refund from @UberUKsupport . It was horrific to get to this point, and only saved by the wonderful customer service, patience and understanding from Clément (who deserves a bonus or pay rise).
@helenphiloprice @Uber_Support@UberEats Just incase they don’t refund you, once the transaction has been taken from the bank (moved from pending to complete) call the bank for a reversal as a dispute. They will refund you and charge back from the company.
@ubereats_uk the customer service I have received today has been absolutely disgusting. Refusing a refund even though I’ve proved that you haven’t delivered to me and delivered somewhere else, resembles that of a scam. The driver in this case has failed you massively.
@UberUKsupport @McDonaldsUK whilst this is not your issue, this is how agents you are subcontracting go are behaving and discrediting your franchises. I would certainly analyse the data vs customer satisfaction index and consider an alternative delivery partner.
@helenphiloprice @Uber_Support@UberEats You won’t get a refund. I’ve had the same issue today. If the driver uploads a photo of ANY door it’s considered successful and they won’t refund. It’s not in their policy.
@brookieboy @UberUKsupport They don’t know the consumer rights act or don’t think it applies to them. They’re happy to let your order to be delivered to another door and for you to pay for it, refusing a refund because the proof of the driver uploading any photo.
@ZackScott my Autistic non verbal boy is obsessed with your videos, and the only time he talks is to say “what’s up guys, Zack Scott here”. Thanks for making them entertaining because he watches them back to back, and you don’t get annoying. 🤣
@DrPamSpurr@thismorning@RealDeniseWelch It’s not PPE! It even states that on the packaging!! We could live life again if it wasn’t for the fear-mongering media. What about the survival rates? What about the fact that masks have given license and rise to yobs and scoundrels to do anything because they can’t be ID’D?
@RealDeniseWelch If there’s a till to generate income to the economy, you can gather and go out. It means they can still collect VAT and business taxes so the rich keep getting richer. But of course, this “deadly” virus (less than 1% death rate) will know to stay away from everyone until Monday!
