@AzureSupport You asked for my subscription id. However, I can't log in so I can't find it. This is for a personal account that I haven't used for a few years. I don't care about the account (it can be deleted), but I do want to use the email address to log in.
@AzureSupport I cannot log into my azure account. I get this error:
Error message: AADSTS5000225: This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity. Trace ID: 5c16f719-d44f-43eb-b2e6-3ee4a7183d00 Correlation ID: 1e1a3128-e47b-456c-86b6-e3bd6c404d27 Timestamp: 2025-09-27 21:54:54
Why does GitHub Security Lab do research like @mmolgtm’s recent work on bypassing MTE on the Pixel 8? This question was asked on Hacker News and we think it’s worth a short thread.

It is important to remember that Lasse is blameless in this. There is no individual, and very very few organisations, able to detect, let alone resist!, the directed interest of an intelligence agency.
@molly0xFFF Nor is he a boy genius or a whiz kid. At a minimum, he's a massive fraud and very likely he is a criminal behind a dumb Ponzi scheme (yet to be proven, but seems hard to deny).
@Sarah_H115@BrentToderian@fumano There’s an existing day care that is currently 8 kids (which is apparently fine?). The owners wanted to expand to 16 kids. That idea was rejected by council.
@SwiftOnSecurity On my team, I always advocate aggressively deleting data we are not using. It makes our users happy and makes our lives easier that we don’t need to manage it.
But honestly more platforms should be clearing out DM histories from their databases. Why do you want private data you're liable for that nobody is paying you to protect?
@liron@SwiftOnSecurity What kind of risk are you talking about? There is existential risk and other really bad (but not existential risks) with AI that are already happening.
@SwiftOnSecurity@Symbo1ics PPS- I feel like Sam Altman and people like him are trying to scare us into thinking of existential risk so that they can grow their own influence. Thanks for shining a light in this kind of behaviour.
@SwiftOnSecurity@Symbo1ics PS- I know you know the difference, but it is so easy to confuse the two kinds of risk especially if you’re listening to Very Smart People who want to make themselves sound like saviours.
@SwiftOnSecurity@Symbo1ics You just made the same problem that most lay people do. They confuse existential AI risk with genuine bad shit that is already happening.
People read “existential”, but they think about all the deep fakes, misinformation, etc and think one leads to another. It doesn’t.
