The SECOND EVER PDS (Particularly Dangerous Situation) Red Flag Warning in Utah state history has been issued, starting tomorrow morning and lasting through much of the weekend. This warning coincides with an area where the Storm Prediction Center has issued a rare EXTREME risk of fire weather, which is in place across much of the state in addition to parts of Arizona and Nevada on Friday! Sustained winds of 25-35mph with gusts up to 50mph will combine with relative humidity values falling below 10% for much of the day, allowing for an environment favorable for wildfires to rapidly develop and spread.
Residents living in this polygon should be preparing to evacuate in the event of a wildfire spreading to your location. This is especially important to those who are near the Cottonwood fire, which remains 0% contained with over 70,000 acres burned!
@MaxVelocityWX sooo insanely proud of you. been here since around 10k! youve worked so hard to get where you are now and its insanley admirable. keep it up!!
@JustiShack40510@MaxVelocityWX sameee my gosh its gonna be done this summer. im in lima and the closest is also like 35-40 minutes 🥹 havent had culvers since i lived in columbus.
@AlmightyCy14315@MaxVelocityWX i think people are only really saying its a bust because theres a 50/50 kind of failmode but its most definitely right now at least being overcome. AND most of the moderate risks this year have been busting lol. might underperform though fs
