Lewis Hamilton says there should be a limit to how much wealth one person can have
"One of the things that I struggle with every day is that there is such a disparity between the wealthy and the poor”
"When you drive around LA there's still so many people living on the streets. You shouldn't be able to have billions"
"I think there should be a limit to how much you can have because there's enough to go around for everyone”
It’s often said that prioritising nature reduces crop yields. But this Chinese study shows the opposite. Restoring grasslands increased rainfall and reduced high temperatures locally, thus boosting harvests.

SA has a bloated financial sector and a non-productive banking oligopoly which enjoys state granted exclusive licences to create money by issuing loans, at exorbitant interest rates. Banking executives are extremely overpaid but the finance sector embedded press and “economists” ignore all of the above and brainwash you into believing that govt is “bloated” and overpaid, even when govt executive salaries are 10x lower.

I must make it clear that only the authorised government officials may act against violations of the law, including violation of our immigration laws.
No other person is allowed, for example, to confront someone in the street to demand proof of nationality.

The image captures a pallbearer pressing on through a cloud of tear gas during a mass funeral. In the mid-1980s, the apartheid government strictly banned political gatherings under the ongoing State of Emergency. Because of these bans, funerals became the only legal loophole where large crowds could gather. Consequently, they transformed into highly charged political rallies and primary arenas of anti-apartheid resistance, which the police routinely disrupted with extreme force, including tear gas and live ammunition.
Just remembering the complete and utter media meltdown when Michelle Obama planted a vegetable garden and installed a swing set for her kids (which the Obamas paid for).
Israeli strikes that killed Reuters video journalist Issam Abdallah and injured six other journalists cannot be dismissed as a “mistake.” Why did Israeli forces attack a clearly identifiable group of journalists in southern Lebanon. https://t.co/3vOKPLRKBv
The New Nation was founded and initially edited by activist and journalist Zwelakhe Sisulu. Due to its defiance, Sisulu was detained and spent two years in solitary confinement. In 1988, the government suspended and banned the newspaper entirely for several months under sweeping emergency censorship laws. Source: Learn & Teach Magazine, Wikipedia
"Dear friends, let's not kid ourselves. In a situation of injustice and oppression, there can be no neutrality. You have to take sides..." - Archbishop Desmond Tutu at the Stanford University's Memorial Auditorium on January 21, 1986. Footage courtesy of Stanford University Archive.
No country should be allowed to host the World Cup while imposing discriminatory rules on qualified and participating teams.
This ought to be a very basic requirement.
Rare albino raccoon spotted among its family
This exceptionally rare albino raccoon was photographed alongside normally colored raccoons. Albinism is a genetic condition that causes a lack of pigment, giving the animal its striking white fur and pink eyes
