Enjoyed being part of a record 1,007 crowd who watched @pcfc1906 beat @sheffieldfc 1-0 in the final round of @NCEL fixtures, in windy conditions.
Church had already stayed up, Sheffield finish 3rd and host Tadcaster next weekend in the play-offs.

Abbiamo aderito, al fianco di @adidasfootball, al Non League Day 🙌
Dal Penistone Church FC al Barnton FC, passando per Chorley e Maidenhead United con un filo conduttore: il bianco e il nero ⚪️⚫️
It’s going to be a busy few days on socials.
For now it’s a massive thank you to Ryan Johnson who stepped in to help us out at the back end of the season on a mini loan from the Over 35’s.
No doubt we’ll still see him about the place - thanks again Jonno.
And it’s a full & final nod from @jammy81818 as he retires after a massive 348 games for Church in the NCEL & many more at County Senior.
We’re also delighted to confirm that Jammy will be staying on as he’s joining the management team as First Team Coach.
A great appointment.
Saturday's last game of the season will also be @jammy81818 final game before he hangs up his playing boots.
So, let's pack the ground and show our appreciation to a legend of the club, but also an absolute diamond of a man.

EFL WEEK OF ACTION | From Future Star to Sports Tutor 🎓
As part of the EFL Week of Action, we’re celebrating the pathways created through Rotherham United Community Trust by sharing the story of Alfie Bakes.
Alfie first joined RUCT in 2020 as a student on the College programme after leaving school, a decision he says was “one of the best I’ve made.” He went on to complete his BTEC, study for a degree in Sports Coaching and Development, and work as a casual staff member, before becoming a full-time Sports Tutor at Rotherham United Sports College.
“Studying at RUCT helped me grow personally and professionally. My confidence has increased so much, and my coaching knowledge has become one of my biggest strengths.”
Alfie’s journey shows how education, volunteering and mentoring can lead to real opportunities.
If you’re inspired by Alfie’s story and want to follow a similar path, join us at our next Rotherham United Sports College Open Evening on Monday 2nd December 2025.
