Cardano is widely used. Has a higher transaction fee than Solana and still has 114 million transactions. Pump Fun is a value extraction platform marketed by influencers like yourself who receive inside allowances and exit position on top of their followers. There are a large number of governance of proposals that rely on programmable assets and Cardano equivalents of various ERC standards. Programmable assets was also listed as a core roadmap item for Cardano in 2025.

Yet feature expansion, development and maintenance of the Cardano programmable assets standard is not covered by any of the existing budget proposals, not even by those which are dependent on this standard.

I have created a budget proposal to fund the continued development of the programmable assets framework on Cardano including:

1. the publication of a minting web application through which anyone can mint custom programmable assets (freeze and seize, soul bound, royalty transfer fees / paper-hand fees, vaulted, dynamic yield, RWA, etc).

2. The co-development of new smart contract primitives to vastly enhance the capabilities of mini-ledger protocols and generally of all smart contracts on Cardano, namely the BuiltinValue type and operations.

3. Major wallet support for programmable assets: major wallets will be provided grants to integrate support for displaying your programmable assets, and allowing you to transact with them.

A lack of transparency with genesis funds is, at a minimum, not helpful for building trust with the community that now holds the keys to the treasury. I also agree that, to a degree, IOG funding is essential for the upcoming road map. ⬇️
