After Charlie Kirk’s murder, Trump expanded his war on free speech, the left, and ordinary Americans.
It’s going to get worse.

What a scoop from the Post.
The One Big, Beautiful Bill Act would force the USPS to sell off its 7,200 EV delivery vehicles and *rip up post office facilities/lots* to uninstall their chargers.
The chargers have no real market value so it’s just incinerating public dollars.
Just figured out where these fake tariff rates come from. They didn't actually calculate tariff rates + non-tariff barriers, as they say they did. Instead, for every country, they just took our trade deficit with that country and divided it by the country's exports to us.
So we have a $17.9 billion trade deficit with Indonesia. Its exports to us are $28 billion. $17.9/$28 = 64%, which Trump claims is the tariff rate Indonesia charges us. What extraordinary nonsense this is.
Over the last few months, I’ve been advising @bookprotectors: a new app for ordering an on-demand security detail. Or more simply: Uber with guns.
Today, they’re debuting in Los Angeles and NYC at No. 3 on the App Store.
If you have a hot date this weekend, pick her up in a Protector.
Richmond Riders: Trips between Richmond and Downtown San Francisco are FREE ON FRIDAYS in both directions each Friday until the end of the year thanks to a partnership with the Contra Costa Transit Authority. More details here: https://t.co/X3VlQn2bb3

More evidence pointing to Dem Senate candidates winning not solely because of people actively splitting their tickets, but people voting for Trump and not voting downballot
I need to know how crowd music at the Olympics works. How do you get picked as a DJ? Like the one keeping the beach volleyball stadium popping. But even this kayak time trial with no spectators has a decent mix. Are there approved playlists? Do countries submit songs?
@screenrant I assume the Disney PR people are screaming mad about this because you were supposed to use the bullets as guidelines to write something yourself, not copy paste into the summary of the article.
@JulianSpector good article about Hawaii's new three part rate today but odd to characterize CA as not having rates to shift consumption away from peak hours when residential customers have beem defaulted to TOU
@TeyAni@lalasoo@washingtonpost Ancient thread but I have been watching Empresses in the Palace on YT (up until the subtitles run out), The Legend of Mi Yue and the Legend of Haolan.
Can any computer people tell me why it's impossible to find any project software that allows you to put in dates like ' May 2024' or just '2025'? It is vanishingly rare for me to have an exact number of days that something is happening.
@SFBayFerry how often do you change the schedule? Should one simply not rely on printed schedules? The one I have seems fairly recent but you guys have switched from the half hour to the hour? I have plenty of time to tweet since there isn't another ferry for an hour and a half.
