I can’t believe I just listened to Dana mom of 4 on TikTok to switch my baby to a nap schedule and stop following wake windows and now I know I have a 3 hour nap same time, every day to do whatever with.
Honestly, solely from a survival instincts perspective I would not choose my 60's or 70's as the decade to convince my children that immediate family members owe one another nothing
@GreatLakesWife_ Maybe 5? It’s 3 of us. I do many things separate. His clothes. My clothes. Her clothes. Everyone’s whites. Bibs/kitchen towels. Someone’s sheets.
@BILGERVTI@ThymeToBeBorn $500 once or twice a year while grand babies are small isn’t going to be the make it or break it for probably 80-90% of cases. And then maybe 5-10% of those don’t have any retirement plan besides Medicaid. What’s the scenario you’re thinking of?
If you have a lot of kids you're more likely to end up too sick to go to the polls. Every day is acts of mercy. You represent MORE people, but are LESS likely to be able to serve on the school board, attend civic meetings, protests, go to jury duty, go to the polls, etc etc.
@ThymeToBeBorn I will woop my baby if she tries to run in the street. I want her to be scared of that. Not if she like, doesn’t put her shoes away or something. This seems obvious to me!
@alt1na1 I started with a tiny one like this but my baby had an awful latch so I got the huge momcozy one bc I wasn’t interested in doing bottles and pump parts multiple times a day
@MonthlyTiger@adesertdryad libraries near me have totally cordoned off the children’s rooms from the rest of the library. separate entrances. It’s the only usable part since unaccompanied adults aren’t allowed.
