I know only recently I tweeted about the importance of #Ragwort as a #wildflower, but I couldn’t NOT post this picture I managed to get of a Small Tortoiseshell enjoying some nectar! This regularly mowed lawn is bursting with flowers. I stopped to chat to the lady who owns it, it was due to be mowed tonight! After a discussion & seeing how many #bumblebees & Meadow brown butterflies were in it, she has decided to delay mowing for a few weeks! Happy days!
