@keurig150arts@ShaiiMoonlight@EduaRRdo_DAE Your claim that “this is just about the interview” is just brain dead, the whole reason the interview took place was because of the situation, it was all discussed in the interview?? But if using this baseless scapegoat is your way of retreating from your terrible logic, I get it
@keurig150arts@ShaiiMoonlight@EduaRRdo_DAE 2/2 wether you personally like xQc or not, defending devs who think it’s better to let the community and mod die over personal grudges is just plain stupid. They had an option to put the dedicated fans first and instead the them under the bus, to take the “moral high ground”.
@keurig150arts@ShaiiMoonlight@EduaRRdo_DAE 1/2 Oh no, someone corrects your flawed logic, that makes 0 sense in the real word and then try to take the moral high ground about keeping the facts in mind. you’ve openly shown blatant bias, dismissing and making sure to leave out key points to make your own point stronger.
@keurig150arts@ShaiiMoonlight@EduaRRdo_DAE I don’t watch xQc, and I can’t see how I’m spreading hate, so that is just another false narrative your pushing, the only reason I spoke on this is because, people love calamity mod, and the devs are willing to throw the community under the bus over personal grudges.
@keurig150arts@ShaiiMoonlight@EduaRRdo_DAE So then why make a public exhibition about the reason they wouldn’t accept and that being personal grudges with xQc, we didnt hear anything about legal reasons for 2-3 days after but they made sure to push their personal reasons, and now backtracking due to the publicity and hate
@keurig150arts@ShaiiMoonlight@EduaRRdo_DAE Another flawed view point, the devs dont have to stick around if they dont want to, the whole idea was to keep the mod alive, if that be by hiring new devs to upkeep the game or some of the old ones, but instead they chose to throw their dedicated fans aside over personal grudges
@keurig150arts@ShaiiMoonlight@EduaRRdo_DAE I don’t think anyone said he was a mouth piece? But someone who has very close ties to the dev team says something while mentioning they feel this way in a community that is very small where players could speak to devs, but you think that a mod wouldn’t ? Seems illogical to me
@keurig150arts@ShaiiMoonlight@EduaRRdo_DAE I’ll reply to each post, for this one the interview is irrelevant as we are not just looking at the interview, you have engaged in conversation that happened outside of the interview so that’s just a scape goat, also was that not the same “mod” who said “fuck xQc” and more
@keurig150arts@ShaiiMoonlight@EduaRRdo_DAE 2/2 your reasoning is terrible as there is no logical reason to turn down funding for a project you worked on for free, you seem to have some personal grudge against xQc and see this as a way to dogpile as others are, your purposely twisting information to fit your own narrative.
@keurig150arts@ShaiiMoonlight@EduaRRdo_DAE 1/2 The interview is irrelevant, the mod (if it is the mod) has close links to the developers as it’s a small team, he would not make a statement referencing the “calamity devs” if there was not conversations prior, he is in a place of power and an extension of them.
@itzsagka And what do you want to happen? For orgs and tournament providers (which are both for profit businesses btw) to just throw money into women’s tournaments which is a guaranteed loss while being in and industry with the worst ROI possible ?
@keurig150arts@ShaiiMoonlight@EduaRRdo_DAE I think you have trouble reading or are just purposely ignoring factual info, they have in no way been civil, screenshots have been shown in this thread proving that, if it was a “legal mess” which is untrue, why not say that? Why run to make personal feelings their main reason.
@kuratoken@J0RDAXX@dhzsquared@bloomjpg So leave the mod to die, instead of getting a yearly salary that would probably be above average in that field, for a mod you worked on for years out of passion for free, because they dislike a person ? Seems pretty smart.
@bloomjpg So it’s not about liking or disliking him, but they made sure to make this their number one reason for publicly rejecting the offer, while throwing baseless claims and insults in too ? Sounds like a smart team
@bloomjpg “Don’t worry I’m sure xqc’s lawyer would find a way to add micro transactions to it” this comment alone shows he’s trying to follow a consensus he’s seen pushed without actually doing any research of his own, guy with $300m+ is secretly offering to fund your money pit to add MT’s
@x4r1ncs@I_am_jerm@Electriz But the price does not matter, people buy what they can afford, so losing 50% on 300 or a dlore has the same effects on the user. Just because you see someone spend $300 max on a combo doesn’t mean that’s the norm, everyone has different amounts of expendable income
@x4r1ncs@I_am_jerm@Electriz I just think this is incorrect, do you really think someone is buying a $7k dlore and not caring if it goes to $2k the next month ? If so why do people buying gold jewellery not just buy plated gold? Because yes it’s a luxury but it’s not just burning money
@Electriz I think this take is wrong, if people could not afford to buy the knife pre crash, chances are they will not buy now, can more people afford the knife ? Sure but they will not buy it as the level of safety has gone, before price fluctuated -5% to +5%, now it can go -20% in a day
@KatoBuff Most of the people that were wishing for skins to drop, will never buy skins, they want low prices so that they gain the feeling knowing the COULD buy it but never do because it’s not risk free
