Kicking off the OME-NGFF #hackathon 2024 @UZH_en today! 🚀 With funding kindly provided by @NFDI4BIOIMAGE, we are bringing together experts on #OME#Zarr in Python, Java & image analysis workflows. Follow for updates on the future of a #FAIR bioimaging standard.
In their Perspective article, @VirginieUhlmann, Matthew Hartley, @notjustmoore, Erin Weisbart and @AssafZaritsky tell us how we can make the most out bioimage data through interdisciplinary interactions.

We conducted OMERO setup and configuration workshops for imaging facility managers along with the #foundinggide BioInage Hackathon and Worshops, Kobe, Japan.
Attendees tried to install OMERO on Linux virtual machines on the cloud.
The OMERO installation workshop at #foundingGIDE event at @riken_en in Kobe was followed by the "Imaging workflows in OMERO" workshop. The participants had the satisfaction of installing OMERO on a VM. A lively discussion ensued on Monday 4th November here in Kobe.
As #gitbob is just a GUI for modern LLMs, you can ask it basically any question, for example about #ResearchDataManagement 🎉 and it will respond.
➕You can conserve how things were done & decided.
➕Others can learn with you how to prompt LLMs.

🚀 Thrilled to announce #inTRACKtive: a web-based tool for exploring massive cell-tracking datasets, no software installation required! Just open your browser and dive into terabytes of developmental biology data. We used it to build the virtual https://t.co/ZpTn6MvKtF of tracked embryonic development datasets 🐭🪰🪱🪲🐠, but you can also use it for your own data! 🔬

Fun and excitement in Birmingham in the 1960s. The annual games of the Land Rover Owners Club where members showcased their driving skills and the strength of their vehicles.
“When maximum sentence for chaining yourself to railings is more than twice maximum sentence for racially aggravated assault, anyone who cares about justice should be appalled”. Spot on @GeorgeMonbiot - Labour should repeal these draconian laws now👇 https://t.co/QbhnVPrF1F

It's great to be at #EMC2024 and learn more about all the different microscopy techniques. I will be presenting a poster on Fractal, our framework for scalable image analysis in OME-Zarrs on Wednesday afternoon (poster 58), feel free to stop by if you're there as well!
New blog post🔬💻! https://t.co/ekgCEqoClT In our group's latest tutorial, I explain how you can train an @ultralytics YOLO object detection/classification 🔍 model for #bioimageanalysis directly from a dataset on an OMERO server @openmicroscopy. Short summary 👇
🐣 New feature 🐣
You can now change the unit of the dataset voxel size to any supported unit of the OME-Zarr standard. This allows you to work with datasets in units other than nanometers.
@Patreon When I go to https://t.co/8JNhcdI9mf it redirects me to https://t.co/jzjXR2wDmr which is 404. Same for lots of other pages - I can't use your site!

For the past couple weeks, I've been reading through the source code of interactive applications.
I wrote up a small walkthrough of @tldraw's source code , which you can read here: https://t.co/jX4jBww9SG
Here are some of the TL;DRs (pun intended lol)
