First post on here.
I'm a senior at UCSB, building a network of students nationwide to help consumer brands & founders resonate with our generation.
Since last Fall:
-Launched on six campuses
-Recruited and trained 200+ students
-Served 7 YC and venture-backed startups
-Had a blast while doing it.
If you see this in the future, let's hope the numbers are much bigger.
@amritwt Fascinating read. 10 y/o reading feedback from billionaire founders is a whole different level of life direction made possible in this day and age. Very cool to see
@adisingh I’m placing nearly 100 top 1% students from our network into full time and internship roles this summer. If you want incredible young talent w startup experience to build in person lets chat
@daniel_dhawan I don’t believe any operator can predict success in consumer so better to build and speak to dozens or users then to seek validation wouldn’t you say?
Personalization will change in 2026.
The whole thing is massively overplayed as a concept.
Getting a ton of context about your users/customers is a net negative for most apps.
2026 personalization will mean your UI/UX will be customized by the info you gather instantly.
After thousands of in person consumer interviews this year I’m creating a Gen Z consumer report for app founders, brands, etc.
If you have questions you need answered comment them below and I’ll make sure they’re properly addressed in the report
Despite what many people think, Gen Z is off the charts resillient.
I work with a ton of students and wow—they’re hustling like crazy. Multiple jobs, internships, gigs, classes... all at once. Some jump right into startups, others balance school and part-time work, and a bunch aren’t afraid to pack up, drop out, and move cities to chase their dreams on a whim.
Tough economy? AI layoffs? Crippling student loans?
They’re still showing up and making it work.
Resiliency will prove valuable in the coming years, and we certainly have it.
If you want youthful, bright, courageous energy on your team, we've got the best to offer.
While most of gen-z sits on social media doom scrolling, our network sits on up and coming consumer apps doom learning (TM).
Everything from UX flows to notification copy, we're testing, sharing, and validating your product with hundreds of your ideal users.
Simple as that. Customer obsession done with you.
Gen-z doesn't just buy your product.
They buy your pitch. You know... what your product helps them become.
Nail that pitch and deliver it well. You've got something powerful for the right audience.
I saw a guy on here boasting about how he hasn't found PMF, but that he will soon because he launches a new startup each week, and soon one will hit.
We'll be nice and say that's one strategy. But the better one?
Digging in deep on one idea. Connecting with the target audience. Building what they need.
It's no small job but one that is critical to success.
Gen z wants to be involved but most don't take the time to invite us to the conversation.
If you're one that will, join the dozens of venture backed founders, product leaders, and brand managers we've worked with this year!
To give you a sense of how many consumers are out there, here are the top three best-performing consumer startups from YC in 2025.
RealRoots - $10M ARR
Mentra - $8M Seed
Pingo AI - $3M ARR
Odds are you haven't heard of them, or the other on the list.
The space is competitive, not saturated.
But you need to do something real that some group of people care about. That's all.
