@JoeTegtmeyer's coverage of the Tesla Gigafactory's development was an opportunity for me to see how engineering was applied in the real world, and get a different perspective on it that I could not find in any textbook.

Unexpected Discussion about Giga Texas videos during my Astroport Space Tour today!
I had a great tour of the Astroport Space, a company trying to work on a solution to lunar regolith blasting by rocket landers such as @SpaceX Starship.
While I was there, Will, a young intern who is a Junior at Stanford studying mechanical engineering told me my Giga Texas videos helped inspired him to study mechanical engineering & be a part of the human return to the moon efforts!
I was very surprised to hear this, but very gratified to think my drone videos could have this kind of effect.
Here is a short clip of our conversation and I thought I’d share. Full video still in progress!
@CSI_Starbase@LabPadre I've never dulled to that I get to lead the folks who built this. I assure you they are proud, and the excitement the community has is a measurable contributor to our endurance. We're fighting like hell to get her to orbit and to pave the way for thousands more. Go Booster Team!!
Tomorrow a Moon rocket is rolling to the NASA launch pad, they’re trying to catch a falling rocket in New Zealand, and a Chinese rocket will crash to Earth. Good day to look up.
