President Trump is at it again.
His 25 per cent tariffs on cars and light trucks will do nothing more than increase costs for hard-working American families. U.S. markets are already on the decline as the president causes more chaos and uncertainty. He’s putting American jobs at risk.
I’ve spoken with Prime Minister Carney. We agree Canada needs to stand firm, strong and united. I fully support the federal government preparing retaliatory tariffs to show that we’ll never back down.
I just had a good call with President Trump. Canada is implementing our $1.3 billion border plan — reinforcing the border with new choppers, technology and personnel, enhanced coordination with our American partners, and increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl. Nearly 10,000 frontline personnel are and will be working on protecting the border.
In addition, Canada is making new commitments to appoint a Fentanyl Czar, we will list cartels as terrorists, ensure 24/7 eyes on the border, launch a Canada- U.S. Joint Strike Force to combat organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering. I have also signed a new intelligence directive on organized crime and fentanyl and we will be backing it with $200 million.
Proposed tariffs will be paused for at least 30 days while we work together.
Malkiat Singh was a shining star whose presence left an indelible mark. His untimely departure has left a void that can never be filled. His selfless nature and willingness to help others without seeking recognition were truly inspiring. With humility, he always attributed his good deeds to divine providence. His loss is deeply felt, and he will be profoundly missed.
With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Malkiat Singh, a dedicated UNITED SIKHS Sewadar from Surrey, Canada. Malkiat Singh, the Senior Manager of Operations & Development for the West Coast, left us far too soon, leaving behind an irreplaceable legacy of compassion and service.
Through his tireless efforts, Malkiat spearheaded Project Vaapsi, a transformative program that guided youth away from addiction and towards healthier, purpose-driven lives. He also played a pivotal role in organizing exhibitions celebrating the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Sahib Ji, spreading the timeless principles of Naam Japna, Kirat Karna, and Vand Chhakna.
Malkiat Singh's unwavering spirit of Chardikala (ever-rising spirit) touched countless lives. As we mourn this immense loss, we pray to Waheguru Ji to grant him eternal peace and provide strength to his family and loved ones.
May Malkiat Singh's legacy continue to inspire us all to serve humanity selflessly.
@GurudevSriSri, you falsely accused Sikhs for vandalizing Hindu temples. This is not true. No Sikh has harmed any Hindu temple. In fact, Sikh Gurdwaras in India has faced attacks, and our community has suffered violence, including genocides by radical groups. The Sikh Gurus’ sacrifices were for the well-being of all humanity, not for any single religion. We ask you to refrain from spreading divisive misinformation. Instead, let’s focus on promoting unity and respect among communities.
#SikhRights #Justice #NeverForget84
Those who are vandalizing Hindu temples are not only hurting the sentiments of more than 1.2 billion Hindus but also insulting the ten Sikh Gurus and undermining the sacrifices they made to preserve Sanatan Dharma. Everyone should work to unite humanity rather than divide communities.
#CanadaHinduTemple
A massive crowd of Indian Hindus are currently parading through the streets of Brampton, Ontario protesting against the local police force.
This is not Mumbai. This is Canada.
I am disappointed to hear about acts of violence outside of the Hindu Sabha in #Brampton.
Religious freedom is a foundational value in Canada. Everyone should feel safe in their place of worship. I strongly condemn any acts of violence outside of a place of worship.
I have full confidence @ChiefNish and the professionals at the @PeelPolice will do everything in their authority to keep the peace and hold those accountable who commit acts of violence. Those found guilty should be punished to the greatest extent of the law.
On November 3rd, Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha in Malton, Ontario, was stormed by armed protestors, disrupting a peaceful place of worship and violating the Sikh community’s right to assemble safely.
We call on Canadian authorities to take swift action against those responsible and ensure justice. Every community deserves the right to practice their faith without fear or violence. 🙏
We also commend the Peel Regional Police for standing in defense of what is right, despite facing aggression.
Let’s stand together for peace, respect, and justice. ✊

Did you know some Indian nationalist Hindutva (Hindu extremist) medical workers are refusing to treat protestors of the #FarmersProtest? However, humanitarian groups like @khalsaaid_india and @unitedsikhs are helping protestors get care, with 400+ injured due to police violence.
