Based on data from sources like ADL, CSIS, and FBI reports (2015-2024), far-right extremists committed the majority of political violence incidents and fatalities in the US, with 76% of extremist murders (328 of 429) linked to them. Far-left incidents are fewer and less lethal, often involving property damage or protests. In 2025 so far, Islamist extremism accounts for 14 deaths; recent events like the Charlie Kirk killing are under investigation but add to ongoing concerns. Overall, far-right has more over the decade.
@glynnda@GraceSafarik_ yeah it's definitely because he's a "shiny new thing" and not because he's made his campaign about affordability in a city that a lot of young people can't afford.
@annakhachiyan@MeaghanBurr@VickieforNYC Do you have to refer to your dad as a “middle class STEM schmuck” to make yourself feel like less of the faildaughter you very clearly are?
Elon Musk, the richest guy in the world, is going after USAID, which feeds the poorest people in the world.
Next, he’ll go after the programs that impact you: Medicaid, Medicare, community health centers, Pell Grants, affordable housing.
We can stop him.
Trump's illegal freeze on billions of dollars allocated by law could:
-Hurt people in federally subsidized housing
-Block maternal and child health grants
-Halt emergency public health efforts
-Limit lead reduction efforts
-Hurt students on scholarship
-Harm hospitals
And more.
@WolcottWu @BarbieTrueBlue @SenSanders we all know bernie's assets/income are ~$3m but he still mentions millionaires + "wealth" in general. Maybe you're too dumb to notice but the billionaire/oligarchy rhetoric is because billionaires/oligarchs like Trump & Musk assumed federal power (undemocratically in Musk's case)
If millionaires and billionaires paid the taxes that they legally owe, we could raise $150B more in revenue each year. That's more than enough to provide tuition-free college to all Americans.
Maybe instead of cutting IRS funding, we should make the wealthy pay their fair share.
