It would be good if people that say they care about children would actually do things that would reduce risk rather than creating more.

Also I want to see this research 🧐because in my tearing over the last few weeks and asking anyone I can to show me, I’m not randomly finding porn let alone violent porn. I have android and iPhone test rigs here with me, if people say where to go, I’ll test things.

You also have to not just care about children, you have to care about the safety of all people. That’s important because society doesn’t work if you just hyper focus on one group. You end up making poor decisions. This is also true in business in my experience.

The online safety act is IMHO a massive overreach that is trying to use technology in a way which simply will not work. We can all wish unicorns 🦄 existed but they don’t.

But there’s some things that I beleive could be done and would reduce harm. Safe search style http headers, App Store improvements, better education, simpler content filtering solutions, filtering on by default (which is true for some cell providers today)
