Two investigations have reinforced the same conclusion: Doug Ford’s fatally flawed Greenbelt plan must be stopped in its tracks.

But yesterday the new Housing Minister doubled down - and is bizarrely insisting on a review of all Greenbelt land. What they were doing behind closed doors, they are now going to do in broad daylight.

Do we have any reason to believe that the #GreenbeltGrab “marked by misinterpretation, unnecessary hastiness and deception” in the 177-page Integrity Commissioner report won’t be done in the same way in public? Does this government have another MO?

Our housing crisis has *nothing* to do with the shortage of available land - every expert agrees. So why is this government insisting on the deception that the Greenbelt is about housing delivery, day in and day out. Why are they insisting on a review of the Greenbelt that the public does not want? Why are they not returning the lands they wrongly removed from the Greenbelt?

The problem is the deception continues. Now it’s just in broad daylight.
