Thinking of Charlie Kirk and thought of this line from Farewell to Arms:
"The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry."
@lisavsworld Regular train to failure works for the young. At 65 I am still building muscle, hitting numbers from my 30s, but only go to failure every 4th week. The rest of the time it's volume at ~75%.
David French has two standards:
He will not judge the Christian theology of leftists such as James Talarico, even if they are Gnostic and heretical.
He will happily judge the Christianity of Trump supporters.
I do not judge his faith. But I do point out that the money that funds him, also rewards this direction.
@RepDonBacon Don't remember you complaining about Obama's purges for resistance to DEI policies. BTW, Did you mind that Marine Colonel John W. Ripley did not recieve the MOH under previous administrations because he spoke out against women in combat? I'm thinking you give the left a pass.
Sir, I have some expertise in Senate rules and precedent. In fact, at one time you were one of a dozen senators who paid me for that.
The talking filibuster will work.
Senators who refuse to do this to pass the SAVE America Act are the ones demoralizing their own base.
John Thune after the SAVE America Act got 50 votes in the Senate:
“We don’t have the votes.”
John Thune after FISA 702 got 47 votes in the Senate:
“We’ll have to keep trying.”
Why the difference?
@starsandstripes@john_vandiver You guys are just journalists too, I guess. Journalists going to water carry for the left no matter where they write. Did you write similar headlines when Obama was sacking general officers? I'm thinking no.
