Simple test to check adulteration in E20 petrol. Your petrol pump is legally required to hand you a filter paper.
Two drops. One minute. Oily stain that won’t dry = impurity in fuel.
It’s free. It’s your right. And on a hill station, it can save your engine.
Latest misinformation: turbo petrols can’t withstand E20, NA engines are immune.
Both wrong.
Ethanol’s higher octane and charge cooling help turbos resist knock under boost. E20 tolerance is material spec and tune. Not turbo vs NA.
People overthink this too much.
The simplest form of getting into manufacturing (I speak from engineering side) is anything steel.
Steel Fab
Steel Foundry
Steel PEB
Anything Steel is an easy entry point into components.
All the new car PDI data and intelligence that I collected over last 1.5 years has been built into a web app. Watch this video to find out how my new Jimny was inspected before making the payment. I bought a May 26 manufactured car in may 26

I didn't read about the case yet, but guys, male and female both, listen to me, never marry in a house where "agarbatti toh jalti hai na subeh shaam" is a rule. Until and unless you are a perfomative religious person yourself, otherwise your every religious activity whether you do it or not, will be judged upon.
Monsoons are arriving!! Here are some important tips before driving in flood-prone areas.
If You Own a 4x4 (Jimny, Thar, Thar Roxx, Gurkha, Wrangler)
Consider installing a snorkel.
A snorkel raises the engine’s air intake higher, helping the vehicle breathe even in deeper water crossings and reducing the risk of water entering the engine bay.
Vehicle Maintenance Before Monsoon-
1. Inspect Door Seals & Rubber Beading
Prevents water from entering the cabin.
Helps avoid electrical damage and interior flooding.
2. Apply Dielectric Grease on Electrical Connectors
Reduces chances of short circuits and moisture-related electrical failures.
3. Use Good Tyres with Deep Tread
•Worn tyres hydroplane very quickly on wet roads.
Better tread = better grip and braking during rain.
4. Check Differential Oil (Especially for 4x4s)
Water contamination can damage differentials and drivetrain components.
5. Know Your Vehicle’s Air Intake Position
Always understand where your air intake sits.
This helps you judge safe water-wading depth for your vehicle.

Tips for Driving Through Water (4x4 & SUVs)
• Use Low Gear & Maintain Constant RPM
Smooth and steady momentum is key.
• Never Stop Mid-Water
Stopping can allow water to enter critical components.
• Avoid Sudden Acceleration
Aggressive throttle creates bow waves that may push water into the engine bay.
• Maintain Distance from Vehicles Ahead
Sudden waves from other vehicles can destabilize your car.
• Never Restart a Vehicle if It Stalls in Water
Restarting may cause the engine to gulp water, leading to hydro-lock and severe engine damage.
⸻
Tips After Driving Through Water
• Dry the Brakes
Lightly press the brakes continuously for a few seconds to restore braking efficiency.
• Check Engine Oil & Differential Oil
Milky-colored oil indicates water contamination.
• Inspect the Air Filter
If water entered through the intake, remove and dry the filter immediately.
• Wash the Undercarriage
Mud and dirty water can accelerate rusting and damage suspension components.
Hot afternoon across north India and initial storms have started to develop over Pak that would impact north India later tonight:
What to expect:
