Live by the sword, die by the sword.
Live by the volatility, die by the volatility.
You think it is your enemy now, you'll think it is your ally later.
Be still. Don't let any of this get to you.
Be comfortable being uncomfortable.
Everyone is talking about the $19B in crypto liquidations, the biggest ever in dollar terms, but context matters:
Back in March 2020 during the COVID crash, about $1.2B in positions were liquidated when the total market cap was only around $150B, that’s roughly 0.8% of the entire market gone overnight.
During the FTX collapse in November 2022, around $1.6B was liquidated out of an $800B market, about 0.2%.
Yesterday’s event saw $19.1B liquidated while the market cap sits near $3.9T, roughly 0.5%.
So yes, this was the largest liquidation ever in dollar value, but not the biggest crash in percentage terms. The 2020 COVID meltdown was still worse relative to market size.
The takeaway, leverage was extreme, but the market is now deep and resilient enough to absorb record liquidations without collapsing. Also the way these people write the headlines is misleading, you cannot just look at $ value.
In 2014, Elon "gave away" Tesla's secrets to BWM.
Everyone thought he was crazy.
But this "act of charity" was actually the most ruthless business move in corporate history.

Chop chop chop chop
I think everyone who joined crypto after the ETF approval has left because of the chop and now it’s just the same delusional idiots who have been here for the last 5 years
In other words we’re not fucking leaving
Kendrick taught us that we're not hating at our full potential. We need to let less things slide.
J. Cole taught us to always stay true to ourselves. Even when the whole world is telling us not to.
Drake taught us that success breeds enemies. Many of which don't show themselves
I met someone today who trades the futures market. I asked him how much leverage he uses and he calmly says 20-25x. I said ahh... so you're the one who's been getting liquidated lately. He smiled and said yeah sometimes.
I then asked him if he knew which wallets performed the best over the past decade. He said no and I told him its the people who are either dead or those who have forgotten their private keys.
Long term holders will beat 99 percent of wallets in #crypto. They will also be the healthiest because they are not concerned with short term price volatility and are not worried at night. They buy spot, sit back and enjoy life.

Started with little in crypto and reached financial freedom.
I've seen many others do it too.
But most fail because when coins start to crash and the market looks "hard".
They disappear.
