Small-caps (Russell 2000) continue to struggle to keep up with large-caps, a trend in place for 3 years now.
The R2K is barely above its level in Nov. 2021, while the S&P 500 is up more than 30%.

When I was PFC living in the barracks at Fort Campbell, my car broke down. It wasn’t going to be crazy expensive, something like 600 dollars, but I didn’t have the money to cover it. I lived in the barracks. I ate at the dining facility. And I had to call my parents for money. I was embarrassed.

The incoming pay raise for junior service members has been needed for a while. It keeps wages competitive with the civilian sector. I’m happy to see it getting taken seriously.
