@GlosLiveOnline The planned closures of B4215 at Rudford and A417 at Maisemore for tree works were cancelled last week for the foreseeable. GCC seems to have forgotten to tell anyone but confirmed it just now.
@suttontrust@Lionesses Research also needs to look at those who started in state schools and were headhunted by the private ones. As a state school head, it irritated the proverbials off me. And they didn’t take just the very best.
@AlexChalkChelt@RoryStewartUK Extraordinary that government is bombarding social media with triumphant messages that it has given workers a below inflation deal (ie a pay cut) that could have been achieved months ago if the PM had not said 3.5% was ‘unaffordable’. Why are people taken in ?
@GlosLiveOnline When I can drive south through Highnam without having to zig zag, I might begin to believe him. But at the present rate of progress, pigs will fly first.
@paulmasonnews Surely it was obvious that post Brexit we would need to ensure we recruited and trained care workers, HGV drivers etc. Our government did nothing. It takes an Oxbridge brain not to see the bleeding obvious.
@Otto_English Just a reminder that we are ‘subjects’ who ‘owe our allegiance’ to an individual by virtue of his parentage, not citizens of a nation to which we belong. Never forget it….
@RestIsPolitics@campbellclaret@RoryStewartUK Has the king missed an opportunity - we could have all joined him to undertake to serve our country rather than ‘swear allegiance’ to an unelected individual?
@thomasforth If I had to go for a top educational priority it would be investment in (green) technical skills, of which maths would be an applied part.
@AnthonyAinsdale Our inflation is caused by PROFIT inflation not wage inflation. See Philip Inman in Observer. Our millionaire leaders have to redress the balance towards working people.
@JaneyGodley Didn’t we spend a lot of money on the Leveson enquiry to put a stop to the press inciting violence like this? Time to boycott Diddlysquat Farm?
@RussInCheshire We seem to have found 10% for pensioners, and given them £900 per couple towards energy costs. However well off they are. Why are they so much more deserving? Because of how they vote? (I am one. But I don’t. Vote for them that is)
