Think about the contrast with Tyler Robinson's family.

Robinson's family identified him as the murderer, questioned him on the spot, and when he confessed they immediately called the sheriff and forced him to surrender.

If this is how some officers behave when a camera is rolling, one is left wondering about the injustices that take place when the cameras are switched off.

One case that has always stayed with me involved a 12-year-old girl called “Sophie”. A victim of the Pakistani grooming gangs, Sophie entered a police station in Oldham to report that she had been assaulted in a churchyard. Instead of safeguarding her, officers turned her away, telling her to return when she was “not drunk.”

Immediately after being dismissed from the station, Sophie was taken away in a car where she was raped. After that, was then taken to a property where she was gang raped by five men.

Few stories have left me as angry and horrified as this one.
