@BBCFergusWalsh Please do your research before speaking. As cabin crew during my 33 years I dealt with customers who suffered a Stroke, angina attack, epileptic fit , panic attack to name but a few and felt fully trained to deal with these emergencies.

The BEATING HEART of BA has been destroyed this weekend as thousands of staff have to take a paltry VR offer. Blackmailed, backs against the wall. The very people who have made the company what it was, a success. Treated with malice & contempt. Defies belief.

Update to my previous tweet. Some BA staff are likely to hear from August 7 if they've lost their jobs. Really feel for the many loyal, hard working BA workers (many of whom I've spoken to in recent weeks) who at the very least deserve clarity from the airline.
