So anyway, yes, I spent ~$100 on nail polish this morning even though I might have to move in a few months, because sometimes it's better than screaming into the void. Or doing my actual job that I'm paid for. Which I should go do now.

To soothe my feelings about still being in Calgary for this endless week, I just spent USD $75 on nail polish from the monthly indie polish shop and honestly, whatever. Whatever! At least being here has been cheap this time since all I do is work and sleep.

Dad is alternately kind of snappy/ragey and fine, which is (from my memory) his baseline. We have good chats after dinner most nights? Except the night when he seemed sad so I let him talk about one of his fave Fox talking points, but it did cheer him up.
