Every life taken in custody strip-mines the core of human dignity—the inherent worth that our Constitution explicitly guarantees to every citizen, regardless of status or occupation.

To the current regime: what inheritance are you leaving us with? Tuna riithi nini? Police brutality and state violence?

A nation cannot claim to uphold democratic values or the rule of law when its state apparatus treats the fundamental right to life as negotiable. We must refuse to normalize this or allow systemic abuse to erode national values.
True national pride isn't built on force, but on justice, accountability, and the protection of the vulnerable.
