@HatesAdtech@adamheimlich Weird crossover for me. I spent early career in vitamin industry before getting into adtech. Adam is right. It is nutrition. Supplements are by definition nutrients. While not over seen by FDA - claims are regulated by FTC. You need studies to make claims.

The idea of a "tech" industry or of "tech" journalism has always troubled me. "Tech" is a meaningless modifier; it's too broad of an umbrella term to provide context. "Hyphenated" tech like adtech or fintech or agtech implies relevant specialization (1/X)

@ronan_shields@Adweek A lot of agency revenue streams were compromised during Covid - linear tv, OOH, etc. Digital, specifically programmatic, achieved greater growth than possible in a precovid world. TTD got all the upside and none of the drag. Less divergence in future when legacy biz dies away.
@wayneblodwell@Facebook ECommerce is a lifeline for many SMBs in Covid. It might be their only revenue during shut downs. Their investment in digital goes up. Torso of the market is FB’s strength. It tracks from my vantage.
@mkatz0630 I wrestle with this a lot. Both approaches can work, in tandem, if you have operational leadership that has the judgement to know when to apply the appropriate methodology. But long term not sure if that kind of judgement scales.
