a research group in Korea built a gene switch you can control wirelessly using electromagnetic fields

they exposed mice to 60 hz EMF (same frequency as your wall outlet) using a pair of large coils that generate a uniform magnetic field around the animal, for cyclic 3-day on / 4-day off pulses

they showed this could:
- activate OSK to do epigenetic reprogramming in progeroid and aged mice, extending lifespan and reversing aging markers across multiple tissues
- conditionally switch on mutant amyloid genes only in aged mouse brains, letting them separate aging effects from amyloid effects to study AD biology in a way previous models couldn't

no drugs, no impacts, just a magnetic field from outside the body

This is not about slavery at all. This is an attack on Britain, America and the West.

Slavery is universal and as old as man.

What was unique was the Christian evangelical movement that spread across Britain, America and Western Europe that led to the West ending its BRIEF involvement in slavery.

Never forget: Britain was the first country in world history to deliberately make itself poorer in the pursuit of a moral good - i.e. the vast sums it expended enforcing an end to the slave trade on land and the high seas.

HUGE Fusion Progress

Scientists just pulled off something wild 👀!

They managed to trap super hot plasma using a magnet that literally floats in mid-air.

Researchers at OpenStar Technologies in New Zealand built a device called the “Junior” Levitated Dipole Experiment, where a powerful superconducting ring magnet is suspended inside a huge vacuum chamber with zero physical supports.

The magnet produces an extremely strong field (about 5.6 tesla) inside a chamber over 5 meters wide.

The “Junior” device uses 2nd generation high temperature superconductors (REBCO), which are far stronger and more efficient than older magnet technologies.

They then used microwave heating (around 50 kW) to turn gas into plasma reaching hundreds of thousands of degrees, successfully producing first plasma in late 2024.

Because the magnet is levitating, nothing touches the plasma or disturbs the magnetic field, so the particles stay trapped more efficiently. It basically mimics how Earth’s magnetic field holds charged particles in space.

If this idea scales up, it could lead to simpler and more stable fusion reactors, meaning clean energy generated the same way stars produce power.

This shows a completely different fusion approach might actually work. Humanity inching toward unlimited energy instead of just arguing about electricity bills.
