@Mslexia Henry Miller, Tropic of Capricorn. I was thrilled by the twists and turns of language, fusing poetry and art with history and philosophy. Not to mention a good old dose of dirty realism and crude humour. It's the style I aspired to then and still do (maybe with less offence 😂)
Last night we had an unexpected 9-course dinner for 30 euros, I saw a shooting star, walked to a waterfall, cuddled many cats, our group of writers is fizzing with good energy, and @YBattleFelton is guiding their craft with finesse. Our Literary Adventures really do create magic.

@penguinusa Physical all the way. I've never successfully read an ebook. I feel I wouldn't remember it either because a lot of the way I remember passages is where they were on the page. Reading a physical book is a tactile experience bringing a lot of context and giving a sense of place
