It's finally out! Another piece of the puzzle of wound-induced long-distance signaling in Arabidopsis 🧩
Thanks to @JyothiVadassery for this great collaboration!

“It matters little whether one uses aniline blue or sirofluor to detect callose”-says @Uwe_Conrath in the Letter to the Editor. Find out more in our August issue. https://t.co/YZgppdX6Q5
Our paper using different channelrhodopsins to decode plant electrophysiologic signals is online in Nature.

@lab_costa@PNASNews I really wanted to go, Alex, but unfortunately I cannot make it this time. I’m looking forward to joining this fantastic workshop next year.

Another thing that makes my day today. Received messages (translation not perfect 😂) and flowers from my first student graduated this year…As a supervisor, these words are the best reward! I’m so glad for her.
GLRs are strongly expected to localize to PM, but based on co-localization analysis with well-known markers, they were detected at intracellular compartments in many cases….Marchantia GLR as well🤔
