@gospel_american Not true. Both traditions affirm Christ as the sole ultimate mediator (1 Tim 2:5). Orthodox extend to the departed saints as part of the one living Church (“all live to Him,” Luke 20:38), using icons for visible communion. The material is only material.

A Group of #Orthodox #Albanians Visits Gračanica Monastery

Today, a group of Orthodox Albanians from Fier, Albania, visited Gračanica #Monastery. The guests had the opportunity to learn about the rich history and spiritual significance of Gračanica, one of the most important #Serbian #Orthodox holy sites in #Kosovo and #Metohija.

During their visit, the group met with Bishop Teodosije of Raška and Prizren. In a warm and heartfelt conversation, they discussed topics related to the spiritual life of the #Church in Kosovo and Metohija.

Bishop Teodosije also extended his greetings to His Beatitude, Archbishop Anastasios of Albania, expressing profound respect and admiration for his dedicated service and selfless love for the Church and its people. With warmth, he highlighted Archbishop Anastasios as a guiding example for all who seek to follow Christ’s path.

Following their visit to Gračanica, the group continued to Draganac Monastery. There, they were warmly welcomed by Abbot Justin and the brotherhood, who introduced them to the history of the monastery and its spiritual life.

The visit unfolded in a spirit of Christian love and fellowship, underscoring the importance of mutual connection and support among Orthodox #Christian believers.
