X-39 Notary — free software (AGPL-3.0) to issue proofs of existence, integrity, timestamp, and authorship without relying on trusted third parties (no companies, no notaries, no states).
Technical architecture:
• Local hashing: the browser computes SHA-256 via WebCrypto; the server never receives or processes the document.
• Timestamping: deterministic anchoring on Bitcoin via OpenTimestamps (commit → attestation → inclusion). The date is protected by the immutability of PoW consensus.
• Post-quantum signature: ML-DSA-87 (NIST FIPS-204) generated on an air-gapped Raspberry Pi 5. The private key never leaves the isolated environment.
• Offline verification: self-contained bundle (script + OTS + signature + hash) that validates the proof without depending on the domain, server, or external infrastructure.
• Threat model: adversary = state-level apparatus (domain blocking, server seizure, censorship, date manipulation, authorship denial).
Use cases: testimonies, contracts, complaints, investigations, journalism, legal defense.

In Venezuela, Nicaragua, Belarus or Iran, evidence has a shelf life: as long as the server survives, as long as the account isn't seized, as long as the journalist isn't forced to delete it.
Oppression doesn't need to refute your proof. It only needs to make it disappear.

Encryption removed trust from communications with pure math. Tamperproof compute is a harder claim: subnet consensus + NNS governance still means *distributed* trust, not *eliminated* trust. That gap matters for the people who need this most — journalists and dissidents facing states.
Two things would close it: a post-quantum roadmap for chain-key crypto (BLS/threshold ECDSA won't survive a CRQC), and offline-verifiable attestations that don't require trusting a live root key. Solve those and "tamperproof compute" becomes as defensible as TLS. I'd gladly contribute to that fight.
This is why we built X-39: agreements hashed client-side, anchored via OpenTimestamps into a Bitcoin block, co-signed with post-quantum ML-DSA-87 from an air-gapped machine. The evidence bundle verifies offline against your own node — even if our servers are blocked or dead.
