My unwavering opinion on current (auto-regressive) LLMs
1. They are useful as writing aids.
2. They are "reactive" & don't plan nor reason.
3. They make stuff up or retrieve stuff approximately.
4. That can be mitigated but not fixed by human feedback.
5. Better systems will come

As a startup some of the best decisions come by doing the exact opposite of what has been done before; and equally some of the biggest mistakes come from trying to reinvent things that won’t change. The fun is figuring out which decision is in which category.
@MS_Ignite@satyanadella@Microsoft The in person event is very disappointing. No seats to attend keynotes. Everyone ending up whatching on tv screens or laptops.. next time I stay in NYC.
Startups: look for markets where conventional wisdom is that the solution to the problem has to be complicated. There’s incentive by incumbents to keep things complex where you can disrupt with simplicity.
